Terms of Service
Effective date: [PUBLICATION DATE] Last updated: 27 July 2026
1. Parties and scope
These terms form the agreement between [COMPANY NAME] ("ShareOn", "we") and the person using the ShareOn service ("you"). By creating an account you accept them.
The service lets you create a digital twin from your own image and voice, produce videos with that twin or with ready-made avatars, edit those videos and publish them to social networks.
2. Who may use the service
You must be at least 18 years old. The service creates a digital identity from a person's own face and voice, so the age threshold is set deliberately high. If you use the service on behalf of a legal entity, you confirm that you are authorised to represent it.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation. You may not transfer or share your account.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. How deletion works is described in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
4. Digital twins and likeness
This is the most important clause of this agreement.
You may only create a digital twin from your own image and voice. You may not turn another person's face, voice or likeness into a digital twin through this service — not even with that person's permission. The rule is enforced technically: the face in the material you upload is compared against the face in your consent recording, and production is refused if they do not match.
Any attempt to circumvent this rule is grounds for permanent closure of your account.
5. Prohibited uses
You may not use the service to:
- impersonate another person or create the impression that someone is
speaking when they are not,
- fabricate statements, confessions or announcements attributed to real
people,
- produce misleading political content, election manipulation or
disinformation,
- promote violence, terrorism, hate speech or discrimination,
- produce sexual content, or any content involving the exploitation of
children,
- commit fraud, identity theft or financial deception,
- infringe third-party copyright, trade mark or personality rights,
- circumvent the technical safeguards, security controls or content
filters of the service,
- overload the service with automated tools or scrape data without
permission.
Where these rules are breached we may remove content, suspend the account or close it permanently. In serious cases we will pursue legal remedies.
6. Ownership of your content
The material you upload and the videos you produce belong to you. We claim no ownership over them.
To operate the service — to render, store and display your video and to publish it on your instruction — you grant us a limited right to process your material. That right extends no further than is necessary to run the service. We do not use your content in marketing, do not sell it to third parties, and do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
The ready-made avatars and the voice library do not belong to you; you may use them only within the service and in the videos you produce.
7. Responsibility for what you produce
You are responsible for the content of the videos you produce and for where and how you publish them. You may be under an obligation to disclose that content is AI-generated on the platform where you publish it; that obligation rests with you.
We embed a machine-readable AI disclosure in the video files we produce, in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act. Some social platforms strip this information when a file is uploaded; where that happens, the disclosure obligation rests entirely with you.
8. Credits and payment
The service runs on credits. The credit cost of each operation is published on the Pricing screen in the app and is updated when it changes.
- Credits are not a means of payment, electronic money or a security.
They can only be used within the service.
- Credits consumed by a failed production are refunded.
- Credits granted free of charge cannot be exchanged for money or
transferred.
- If we change prices, the change does not apply retroactively to credits
already purchased.
9. Subscription, withdrawal and cancellation
Right of withdrawal. As a consumer you may withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of its start without giving a reason. If you begin using the service and consume credits within that period, your right of withdrawal ends in proportion to what you have consumed. You confirm your acknowledgement of this separately when the subscription begins.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time, in a single step, from within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; you keep access until then. Remaining credits stay usable until the end of that period and expire afterwards.
Your data after cancellation. Ending a subscription does not close your account. Your content and digital twins remain and the free-tier rules apply. If you want your data deleted entirely, use the account deletion flow.
Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a subscription price change takes effect. If you do not accept it you may end the subscription at the end of the current period.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates or third-party provider outages may cause interruptions. We announce planned maintenance in advance.
We may change or discontinue parts of the service. Paying users will be given at least 30 days' notice of a material change.
11. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". AI output can be wrong, incomplete or fail to meet your expectations; checking the accuracy of generated text is your responsibility.
To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data or reputational harm. In any event our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not exclude liability for our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor do they override mandatory consumer protection law.
12. Termination
You may end this agreement by deleting your account; we may end it by closing your account where these terms are breached. Except in cases of serious breach (sections 4 and 5) we will notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy the breach before closing the account.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by e-mail or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept them you may close your account; continuing to use the service means you accept them.
14. Governing law and disputes
Turkish law applies. The courts and enforcement offices of [COMPETENT JURISDICTION] have jurisdiction.
As a consumer you retain the right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts. If you live in the European Union, the rights granted to you by your national consumer law are unaffected by this clause.
